Monthly Matches

Matches are – except for some holidays – held on the last Saturday of each month at Mill Creek Rifle Club. Check back here to confirm dates.

During most of the year, the shooter's meeting is at 9 am but gates open at 7:00 am. Please arrive early to help with setup.

In the winter months (generally December through February) everything is pushed back 1 hour, with a 10 am shooter's meeting, and but gates open at 8:00 am so it is not dark when we start, and a bit warmer.

To start setting up or assist, go to the CONEXes located just across the road from range LE1. There should be vehicles and people at these CONEXs already, who can direct you.

New shooters who have not attended a KCSM match, or do not hold an IDPA Classification of MM or above, or a USPSA Classification of D or above, must attend a brief orientation, held before every match. Be sure to be waiting at the eastern-most range — Multi-Purpose Range 4 — and starts 45 minutes after gates open (7:45 am most of the year, 8:45 am in winter) where the orientation class will occur. Orientation starts promptly; there is no waiting for late admission. There is no cost for the orientation.

Once completed setting up go to range LE 2. Inside the building you may pay for the match, and then wait under the shelter outside, where we will hold the shooter's meeting and hand out equipment to start the match, shortly.

During the match, all shooters are expected to assist with setup, scorekeeping, pasting, brass policing, teardown, and any other needed range tasks while waiting to shoot, as well as assisting with setup and teardown per the SO's instructions.
